The Garden Club of Hingham is a working club. All active members contribute a minimum of 10 volunteer hours, which include at least 2 shifts in the gardens we maintain: Old Ordinary, Hingham Public Library Entrance Containers and Courtyard Garden, Founders Park and the Traffic Islands at Hingham Center. Other ways active members contribute to our club: Plant Sale in June, Teacup Bouquet Sale for Mother’s Day, sharing knowledge with other club members via a Hort Short presentation or workshop, taking a turn providing a weekly fresh floral display at the Hingham Public Library and more. We look forward to welcoming you into our club and benefitting from your participation. We welcome new members and encourage prospective members to join us for one or two events to explore what club membership has to offer.
