Club Structure
Nominating Committee:
The Nominations Committee identifies, interviews, and proposes the slate of Club Officers and Directors for the upcoming year. The committee chair must be familiar with the active membership and comfortable reaching out to members and soliciting new candidates. The nominating committee works closely with the president to fill the slate and considers the president’s desires. The committee’s priority is continuity in leadership and maintaining a strong, healthy slate and directorship looking ahead approximately 4-6 years.
Directors:
- Are responsible for the direction of the Club
- Are members of the Executive Board
- May chair a committee
Officers:
- Are elected for a term specified in the by-laws
- Include a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer
Executive Board Members:
- Are Chairs of Standing Committees
