DESCRIPTION:Fornari is an artist\, writer and speaker who knew early in life all she wanted to do was to “go into the studio and make stuff.” In the mid 1990’s she was asked to write a book about gardening\, and she thought\, “when opportunity knocks\, don’t be the one that says\, ‘Can someone else get that?’” Nine books later\, C.L. is host of The Garden Lady\, a live call-in radio program. She speaks to groups nationwide and grows vegetables\, flowers and numerous other plants at Poison Ivy Acres on Cape Cod. As a cook\, her favorite time of year is the months when she can walk into the garden and ask\, “What’s for dinner?”

DESCRIPTION:Kristen and Britt started Blue Stem Natives in 2021. They met at a Wild Ones meeting\, growing plants for the Club’s plant sale. Then and there they decided they needed to start a native-only nursery. Their mission is to help everyone create wildlife-friendly green spaces. They strive to produce and provide high-demand native plants for the New England region\, using local ecotypic seed when possible. They specialize in growing native plants from seed to encourage genetic diversity and grow only straight-species – no ‘cultivars. \n\n
