Jen Kettel: Introduction to Pesky Pests of Trees and Shrubs

Jen will focus on pests and diseases of woody shrubs and trees, walking us through the top ten problems and offering current observations and solutions. Jen will spend time specifically addressing the current prevalence of Beech tree disease, an issue many are facing locally.

A board-certified master arborist, Jen is the owner of Radiant Leaf Consulting. She has spent years working with plants, trees and shrubs in different capacities and shares her passion for horticulture through the training she provides to both homeowners and green industry professionals. Jen has worked with Safdie Architects and The Trustees’ public gardens, and she has been a guest lecturer for the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, the Arnold Arboretum, and the International Society of Arboriculture. Radiant Leaf is celebrating just over ten years as a local, Mass Certified women-owned business.
